Young Lifesavers Programme

Every year, thousands of people die in situations where first aid could have made a difference. St John Ambulance Cymru believes that everyone should be equipped with vital lifesaving skills which could be the difference between life and death in an emergency situation.

It's never too early to start learning first aid. That's why we've developed our Young Lifesavers Award scheme for young people between the ages of 7 to 16 years.

As part of the scheme we offer free, engaging teaching resources including PowerPoints, teacher notes, lesson plans and activity packs. When you register on the programme, you will receive a logon to enable you to access all the resources; you'll find all the information you need online to run a Young Lifesaver course.

On completing the course, each student will receive a certificate of completion. To obtain this, you simply complete the form on the Register tab and email it to training@stjohnwales.org.uk. E-certificates are offered free of charge.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with our team on 0345 678 5646 or e-mail training@stjohnwales.org.uk. We may also be able to loan equipment to support your school or club with your training, or even assist with delivering the training itself.
